Dip Falls A Giant Basalt Field Waterfall & Giant Trees

Dip Falls is situated in a remote region of North-West Tasmania in the Dip River Forest Reserve, along the Dip River. This waterfall is very unique in it's appearance due to the stepped nature, it almost looks like it was made from lego. You won't see the crowds here, but not due to any lack of quality.

The falls are located in the Dip River Forest Reserve, approximately 40 kilometres (40 minute) drive from Stanley. The road is sealed for much of the way with only the last few kilometres being of gravel, albeit in good order when we visited.
